MTA Bridges and Tunnels Resident Programs

Toll rates effective August 6, 2023. If you live in a specific area, you may benefit from a resident discount plan.

All resident plan participants must mount their Tag in order to receive the best toll rate

If your Tag is not properly mounted, you will be charged the mid-tier toll rate

MTA Resident Rebate Programs

Bronx Resident Program for the Henry Hudson Bridge

For all certified residents with E-ZPass New York accounts who have vehicles legally registered to a Bronx address, the new (BR) rebate plan provides a rebate of the toll charged when they cross the Henry Hudson Bridge (HHB) using their E-ZPass NY tag***. The rebate currently covers 100% of the New York E-ZPass passenger vehicle toll of $3.18 at the HHB. Future rebates are subject to program funding as well as future toll increases. Plan Code: (BR)

Queens Resident Program for the Cross Bay Bridge**

For all certified residents with E-ZPass New York accounts who have vehicles** legally registered to a Queens address, the new (QR) rebate plan provides a 100% rebate of the toll charged when they cross the Cross Bay Bridge (CBB) using their E-ZPass NY tag***. The rebate currently covers 100% of the New York E-ZPass passenger vehicle toll of $2.60 at the CBB. Future rebates are subject to program funding as well as future toll increases. Plan Code: (QR)

Rockaway/Broad Channel, Queens Resident Program*

Eligible NYCSC E-ZPass account holders receive a $3.90 discount per trip (for a $1.70 E-ZPass toll versus the $5.60 Tolls by Mail rate) on the Marine Parkway and Cross Bay Bridges. The toll on the Cross Bay Bridge is rebated after each trip by the MTA.

Vehicles must be registered to a valid resident address in Rockaway/Broad Channel, Queens in one of the following zip codes: 11691, 11692, 11693, 11694, 11695, and 11697. Please note that vehicles used for commercial purposes are not eligible for residency plans. Residency status is subject to periodic review. Plan Code: (RR) 

Staten Island Resident Program*

As the result of an MTA Rebate Program, residents who are eligible NYCSC E-ZPass account holders are charged an effective toll rate of $2.75 (versus the $11.19 Tolls by Mail rate) at the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. In the event this rebate program ceases, the SIR toll will be $3.90.

Vehicles must be registered to a valid resident address in Staten Island. Please note that vehicles used for commercial purposes are not eligible for residency plans. Residency status is subject to periodic review. Plan Code: (SIR)

*You must provide a copy of your driver's license, utility bill or lease agreement to demonstrate residency AND a copy of your vehicle registration for each E-ZPass Tag requested. Residency status is subject to periodic review. A vehicle registration may be used on only one E-ZPass account.

**Excludes Rockaway/Broad Channel zip codes: 11691, 11692, 11693, 11694, 11695, and 11697.  Customers living in one of these six zip codes are eligible for the Rockaway/Broad Channel Resident plan which provides a 100% rebate at the Cross Bay Bridge and a discounted toll at the Marine Parkway Bridge.
